Two children and adult injured in Chorlton collision

Two children and an adult were injured tonight after a collision in Chorlton.

The fire service said two cars were involved.

A spokesman said firefighters worked alongside paramedics to administer first aid.

Thankfully he said they required treatment for 'non life-threatening injuries'.

It's understood the collision happened close to the junction of Wilbraham Road and St Werburgh's Road.

Police, paramedics and the fire service responded at around 8pm.

Social media reports claimed a van was involved, but that's not been confirmed.

No ages or sexes for the children and adult have been revealed.

No further details have been confirmed, but Wilbraham Road was closed by police for accident investigation work between Egerton Road North and St Werburgh's Road.
