Brampton crash kills two children and one woman, police looking for witnesses

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Police are looking for witnesses following a multi-vehicle crash that killed two children and a woman Saturday night in Brampton, Ont.

Peel Regional Police say an SUV and a sports car were travelling on Highway 50 when they crashed at about 9 p.m.

Police say a 47-year-old woman, a 12-year-old girl and seven-year-old boy, all from Woodbridge, Ont., and all in the same vehicle were pronounced dead.

A 45-year-old man from Caledon, Ont., a 39-year-old woman from Toronto and a 12-year-old girl from Woodbridge were taken to hospital for their injuries.

Police say they will not release the names of the victims for privacy reasons.

The circumstances of the crash haven't be released.
