Two people have been charged with murder after a man was found dead in a drain in Lincolnshire.
The body of Marcin Stolarek was discovered by a member of the pubic near a pumping station in Boston on 12 January.
Detectives said the 46-year-old from Poland had died from a “sustained assault” before being dumped in the waterway known as South Forty Foot Drain, off Chain Bridge Road.
Mr Stolarek, who lived in Boston, was identified three days later after officers released information about a distinctive “tribal-style tattoo” on his right shoulder.
On Saturday night Lincolnshire Police said three people had been charged in relation to the investigation.
Adam Kaminski, 26, of Union Court in Boston, and Justyna Swiatek, of the same age and address, were both charged with murder.
Adam Maksajda, 33, of no fixed address, was charged with perverting the course of justice.
They were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

“It has been an upsetting time for many people in the local area, and of course those close to the victim, so I’m grateful for the help that has come from the communities in and around Boston.”
