Three cars burnt out in car park of swanky Gleneagles Hotel

Three cars were set on fire in the car park of the swanky Gleneagles Hotel .

Police officers raced to five star luxury hotel in Perthshire at around 3.20am on Sunday morning.

Scottish Fire and Rescue were called to the fire at around 4.17am and had it under control just minutes later.

The vehicles were left completely charred.

Police Scotland are now probing the incident and said that "enquiries are ongoing."

A spokesperson for Gleneagles Hotel said: "It would be inappropriate for us to provide a comment while a police investigation is underway."
