Two cars badly damaged in crash on Drum Brae South in Edinburgh

Two cars have been badly damaged following a crash near Corstorphine on Saturday.

A white car collided with a black Audi parked on Drum Brae South shortly before midday.

The accident happened at the junction with Drum Brae Gardens. An elderly man is believed to have been driving the white car.

One eyewitness told a local Facebook group: "Looked like one hell of an impact, the Audi had been pushed sideways onto the pavement with rear lots of damage to rear wheel area.

"The other white car had massive front damage and wheel had collapsed in. Hope all involved are okay."

Police Scotland said they were called to a report of a car colliding with a parked car at 11.45am. No-one is thought to have been seriously injured in the incident.
