Two burst water mains causing disruption in North Glasgow and Bearsden areas

Two separate burst water mains in north Glasgow and Bearsden are affecting water supplies this morning.

The bursts, located in Cadder Road in Gilshochhill and on Milngavie Road in Bearsden, have resulted in a loss of water or low pressure for some residents in both the G20 and G61 areas.

Scottish Water are aware of both bursts and have posted on their website and taken to Twitter to note that: "We will aim to have repairs completed and supplies restored as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience caused."

While Scottish Water have confirmed to Glasgow Live in the past few minutes that: "Squads are still on site repairing the mains at the moment, at this moment in time we don't have an estimate time for when these repairs will be complete."
