Two burglars force open window without realising CCTV pointing directly at them

This is the moment two brazen thieves force open a window while a high-definition security camera points directly at them.

The hooded men, armed with crow bars, broke into a Netherton home in West Midlands after they prised open the kitchen window from the back garden on June 16.

Footage shows one of the men climbing into the home through the window while the second man goes around the side of the house through an alley.

It's believed that the duo searched the house for 30 minutes before taking off with cash, a gold ring and keys.

The video has since been posted on a community Facebook page and has had over 267,000 views.

In the video, the pair can be seen hopping over the fence in an attempt to avoid the security camera on the drive at around 8.40pm.

However, they did not notice a home security camera installed in the garden when they wandered outside the kitchen.

The video has sparked outrage online with web users calling to catch the culprits.

George Gallagher said: "Can't believe how quickly they got into the house."

Maureen Clarke commented: "They need a bloody good hiding, preferably by the house owners."

Valerie May wrote: "Why is it this absolute scum feel is acceptable to break into a property that someone has worked hard and long to provide for their family. GET A JOB!"

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Police are investigating.

"Anyone with information can contact us via Live Chat at  west-midlands.police.uk  between 8am and midnight, call 101 anytime or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Quoting crime reference 20DY/142766Y/19."
