John Elway was a legendary QB for the Denver Broncos during his Hall of Fame playing days.
But his stint as the team’s president and GM has been just the opposite, as his struggles to be able to have an eye for talent – especially at the QB position – has this once storied franchise floundering near the bottom of the league for what feels like year after year.
And many fans have had enough, wishing Elway would be fired and that the team could try to rebuild with someone who knows what they’re doing it.
Elway’s struggles with finding a QB have been quite laughable, unless you’re a Broncos fan. Peyton Manning landed in his lap and helped the team win a Super Bowl. The rest – including draft picks, trades, and free agents – are just bad.
