Two boys and girl were arrested following a mugging in an alleyway in the outskirts of Bolton town centre. A mobile phone, trainers and portable speaker were stolen during the robbery on Saturday night.
Police say the suspects were 'swiftly apprehended' after a member of the public raised the alarm. Officers waited with the victim while an ambulance arrived to take him to A&E, where he was treated for 'minor injuries'.

The three suspects were arrested on suspicion of robbery a short time later. They remain in custody for questioning.
A mobile phone and speaker were also recovered. The mugging took place in an alleyway on higher Bridge Street.
A spokesperson for GMP Bolton North said: "Thank you to that member of the public who raised the alarm."
