Queensland police are investigating the suspicious deaths of a man and a woman on the Gold Coast.
Authorities were called to an apartment on Labrador Street in Labrador just before 10:20am today, where the body of a 53-year-old man was found.
Police say they later discovered the body of a 48-year-old woman at the unit, prompting a crime scene to be declared shortly later.
Police have described the man's death as "sudden" and the woman's death as "suspicious".
Investigations are continuing as six police and forensic crews remain on the scene.
Police have urged anyone with any information to come forward.
