Two bodies found in home - neighbours evacuated as police probe unexplained deaths

The bodies of a man and woman have been found inside a house in Norfolk.

The bodies were found in Becclesgate, Dereham shortly before midday and Norfolk Police are treating the deaths as unexplained.

Neighbouring properties were evacuated due to the smell of gas at the scene, the force said.

One resident told a local newspaper emergency services had told them there was a 'severe gas leak.'

Fire crews were called to the scene as nearby residents were asked to leave their homes 'as a precaution,' police said.

The firefighters entered the building first to make sure the area was safe.
