Two-bed flat in Hockley for sale for around £85,000 - but there's a catch

Love Hockley?  You could live in the heart of the bohemian city centre area with this gem.

Part of the city's Creative Quarter, the Hockley area of Nottingham is home to Broadway Cinema, The Hockley Arts Club, bars, restaurants and an array of shops ranging from vintage clothes stores to a Sainsbury's local.

So, just how much would it cost to live there?

According to property website Zoopla, the average price for Hockley stands at £152,587, but that's the average.

This two-bed flat in Goose Gate is for sale at a guide price of between £85,000 and £95,000.

There is a catch though.  Estate agent Express Estate Agency says this is a property for cash buyers only - the leasehold property has 68 years left to run.

But, it you're interested in buying it, the duplex apartment could make you around £700 a month in rent according to the agent's figures.

Accommodation includes an open-plan reception room and fitted kitchen, on the first floor, then there is bedroom one and a shower room on this floor as well.  On the second floor is a double bedroom.
