TWO people have denied conspiring to defraud customers on internet auction site eBay.
Jason Hart, 32, of Moorside Avenue, Farnworth, Bolton, and Louise Gregory, 26, of Victoria Street, Farnworth, Bolton, failed to deliver items to customers after receiving cheques, Bolton Crown Court was told.
Alaric Bassano, prosecuting, said 20 customers had complained and more were preparing to complain. The cost of the alleged fraud could be £20,000.
Louise Gregory was later sentenced to 150 hours of community service
The case was adjourned for a trial in January. Both were released on bail.
