Two attempted murder charges in north Qld

A woman faces attempted murder charges after two children were allegedly stabbed and taken to hospital in north Queensland.

The 39-year-old and the children were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a disturbance at a Tablelands property on January 25.

On January 31, police charged the woman with two counts of attempted murder.

She later appeared in Cairns Magistrates Court where she was remanded to reappear on April 13.
