The Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games said Sunday that two athletes staying at the Olympic Village have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the first such cases involving athletes at the waterfront accommodations.
According to the organizing committee, the two athletes entered the country from overseas.
Another athlete who is not staying in the village also tested positive, bringing the total number of newly reported positive cases among those related to the Games to 10.
