Two arrested after suspected cocaine and diamorphine seized in raid in Dublin

Two men have been arrested after suspected cocaine and diamorphine with a combined estimated value of €43,120 was seized in south Dublin area last night.

The search was carried out at around 5:55pm in the St Mark's Gardens area of Clondalkin.

During the course of the search, approximately €23,100 of suspected diamorphine and approximately €20,020 of suspected cocaine were seized, Dublin Live reports.

Suspected drug paraphernalia including scales, presses, mixing agents and plastic wraps were also seized.

Two men, who are in their 20s, were subsequently arrested in connection with the seizure and detained at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

One of the men was charged and appeared before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.

The other man was released without charge pending a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
