Two people have been arrested after a man was attacked in the street in Salford. Police were called to Adelphi Street, off Chapel Street at about 1.30pm on Thursday.
Pictures from the scene show two police cars and three vans outside the Adelphi Wharf apartment block. A man in his 30s was taken to hospital but police say his injuries 'are not considered life-threatening'.

No further details of the nature of the attack have been revealed. The two suspects remain in custody. Enquiries are ongoing.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log 1985 of June 8, or report it online here.
