Two men have been arrested after gardai seized €163,000 of suspected cocaine and nearly €25,000 in cash in west Dublin.
The discovery came as two vehicles at Porterstown Road in Blanchardstown were searched by gardai attached to the K District Community Action Team yesterday.
They found a package containing around €82,600 of suspected cocaine.
Two men, aged in their 30s, were arrested at the scene and detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act, 1996.
A further search of the vehicles revealed another parcel with around €81,200 of suspected cocaine and €24,985 in cash.
Additionally, around €6,000 in cash and designer clothing and apparel with an estimated value of €24,000 was found during another follow-up operation at a number of locations in Dublin 15.
Investigations are ongoing.
