Two arrested after drugs worth around £30,000 have been seized

Two people have been arrested after an estimated £30,000-worth of drugs haS been seized by police in South Gloucestershire.

A significant amount of suspected class B drugs were discovered at an address in Thornbury on Tuesday, July 20.

Police executed a warrant at an address, close to Streamleaze, where they seized a quantity of cash and a quantity of suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of £30,000.

Two men, aged 18 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.

However, both have been released under investigation.

Avon and Somerset Police are asking that if anyone has any information about drug offences in their community to report it through their website or by calling 101.
