Two men were arrested after a police raid on a property in Haydock.

Two men, aged 27, were arrested on suspicion of supplying of Class A and B drugs, possession of criminal property and possession of psychoactive substance with intent to supply.
Both of them were taken to a police station in Merseyside and have since been released under investigation.
Inspector Rob Budden from St Helens Targeted Team said: "Tuesday evening’s arrests were part of the proactive work we are carrying out under Operation Hammer the Force-Wide drug Investigation Team.
"Thanks to a thorough search at the property and the swift actions of our officers a large amount of drugs has been taken off our streets that could have caused harm to vulnerable members of our communities.

“Our work under Operation Hammer to remove these people from our streets and bring them to justice continues on a daily basis and I would ask anyone who has information about this kind of activity to come forward so action can be taken.
"If you suspect drugs are being dealt or stored in your area, please DM @MerPolCC or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. In an emergency always call 999."
