Two teenagers have been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Rutherglen.
The incident happened at Rutherglen Train Station at around 5pm yesterday, Monday. A a 14-year-old boy suffered serious injuries to his chest and lower body, he was taken to hospital where he remains.
An 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were arrested in the hours following the incident.
They were both arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody. British Transport Police officers will be at the scene today carrying out further enquiries.
