Two men have been arrested and charged after an alleged robbery at a Ladbrokes bookmakers in Shawlands.
Police swooped on the scene on Pollokshaws Road at around 8.40pm last night (Tuesday), while the Scottish Sun reported a 'large police presence' in the area.
Police Scotland have today confirmed to Glasgow Live two men have since been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson said: "At about 8.40pm last night, officers received a report of a robbery at a Ladbrokes bookmakers on Pollokshaws Road, near to Minard Road.
"Two men, one age 28, one age 34, have been arrested and are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today."
