Two arrested after £30k worth of jewellery and watches stolen in burglary

Two men have been arrested in connection with a burglary in Egerton.

The incident happened at a property on Rock Terrace on Friday, May 15.

A man entered the house and stole jewellery and watches worth more than £30,000.

Following a social media appeal, information was provided to the police by the community via the independent charity Crimestoppers.

Officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team executed two warrants in the Farnworth area this morning (June 20).

A 51-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and a 49-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary.

Both remain in police custody for questioning.
