Jon Cryer has spoken out against Demi Moore's claims that she 'took his virginity'.
The 54-year-old actor, who stars in Two and a Half Men, has denied claims by Moore in her new memoir, Inside Out, after they allegedly slept together when Cryer was still a teenager.
The pair were filming No Small Affair together in 1984, and Demi has claimed that Cryer "fell for me in real life," which ended up with them sleeping together.
She also said that this was the first time that Cryer had enjoyed such an experience.
Demi wrote: "I played a young nightclub singer, and Jon Cryer played the nineteen-year-old photographer who falls in love with her, in his first movie role.
"Jon fell for me in real life, too, and lost his virginity to me while we were making that movie.”
The actress continued, “It pains me to think of how callous I was with his feelings — that I stole what could have been such an important and beautiful moment from him.”
At that time in her life, Demi has said that she was on a "self-destructive" path and was struggling with a cocaine addiction.
She admitted: “I started to do some seriously self-destructive things during that period.”
Cryer was not too happy to find out what Moore has written about their relationship and took to social media to respond to the actress.
He wrote on Twitter : "Well, the good thing about this is she doesn’t have to feel bad about it anymore, because while I’m sure she was totally justified making that assumption based on my my skill level (and the stunned look on my face at the time), I had actually lost my virginity in high school.”
He then added: “But she’s right the other part, I was over the moon for her during a very troubled time in her life. I have nothing but affection for her and not a regret in the world."
