Motorists have been warned to expect delays and disruption as two Airdrie roads get set for five-day closures later this month.
The town’s Blackbog Road, from the A73 northbound off-slip to Cullochrigg Road, is shutting from June 20 for drainage installation.
Diversions will include the B8039 Stirling Road, Millcroft Road, the B802 Condorrat Road, Gain and Shankburn Road and Summerhill and Garngibbock Road.
And Lyle Road is also closing from June 20-24, for carriageway resurfacing works, between the B8058 Towers Road and Alloway Road.
Motorists are warned there will be no alternative routes available, but pedestrian access “will be maintained where practical" during the closure.
