Aoife Haynes Murphy has been safely located in county Dublin.
Two adults have been arrested in relation to her disappearance earlier this evening.
The toddler was taken from Swinford Health Centre, Co. Mayo in contravention of a court order at approximately 10:10am today, Tuesday, October 12.
A man and a woman aged in their 30s, were arrested for an offence contrary to Section 15 Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997.
They are currently detained at a Garda Station in Dublin.
A garda spokesperson said: "An Garda Síochána is not providing any further information.
"We would like to thank the public, media and other agencies for assistance provided during this alert. No further media action is required at this time."
