Two 14-year-olds from South Bristol charged with multiple burglary and theft offences

Two 14-year-olds have been charged with a number of burglary and theft offences following a spate of incidents in the past six weeks.

One teenager from Bedminster Down appeared at Bristol Youth Court yesterday after being charged with burglary, possession of a bladed article, and four counts of being a passenger in a stolen vehicle.

He has since been bailed conditionally.

Another teenager from Ashton has been charged with six counts of burglary, aggravated theft of a motor vehicle, and handling stolen goods. He was arrested yesterday (Thursday, July 25) and appeared at Bristol Youth Court today.

The pair were charged in connection with a number of incidents over the past month and a half across South Bristol, including the Southville and Ashton areas of the city, as well as Hallatrow.
