Twitter warning as Donald Trump claims Democrats trying to 'steal' election

Donald Trump has claimed that Democrats are trying to 'steal' the US Presidential Election.

The Republican candidate also insisted that votes cannot be cast "after the polls are closed".

He wrote on Twitter: "We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!"

However, the social media giant shared a warning about the tweet, saying that it could be "misleading".

They said: "Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process."

Meanwhile, his rival Joe Biden hit back on Twitter, saying: "It's not my place or Donald Trump's place to declare the winner of this election. It's the voters' place."

Earlier Democratic candidate Biden said he is "feeling good" about winning the election.

The former Vice President said his campaign will take the key stats of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.

The President, Donald Trump, is yet to make a formal speech with the vote set to come down to the wire.

Mr Biden told supporters: "Your patience is commendable.. We feel good about where we are. We really do.

"We believe we're on track to win this election.

"We knew because of the unprecedented early vote, that this would take a while. We need to be patient...

"It ain't over until every vote is counted, but we're feeling good about where we are."
