Twitter recap of Broncos’ 26-24 loss to Jaguars

Once again this season the Denver Broncos lost in the last seconds of a game with a 26–24 defeat at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars. One high point was linebacker Von Miller achieving a career total of 100 sacks.

Here is a Twitter recap of the game.

The game started off well with the Broncos jumping to a 7–3 lead after the first quarter.

The Broncos padded its lead to 17–6 in the second quarter.

But the third quarter was a disaster for the Broncos, allow the Jaguars to score 14 unanswered points.

Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette finished the day with a monstrous performance, rushing for 225 yards on 29 carries.

The Broncos offense was improved from the prior seven consecutive losing games. Quarterback Joe Flacco had a solid game making 22 of 38 passes for 303 yards with three touchdowns against one interception. Receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton combined for 11 receptions for 166 yards and two touchdowns.

Four Broncos players had sacks: two for Von Miller and one each for Bradley Chubb, Malik Reed, and DeMarcus Walker.

Breaking its losing streak will not be easy for the Broncos. Next Sunday the club has an away game with a division rival, the Los Angeles Chargers.
