Twitter recap of Broncos’ 24-19 win over Browns

The Denver Broncos broke a two-game losing streak by beating the Cleveland Browns 24-19 at home led by replacement quarterback Brandon Allen. In his first NFL regular-season game, Allen went 12-of-20 for 175 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Here is a Twitter recap of the game.

Receiver Courtland Sutton had five receptions for 56 and one touchdown in the game.

Tight end Noah Fant finished the day with three receptions for 115 yards.

Phillip Lindsay had nine carries for 92 yards and one touchdown. He had his season-longest run of 40 yards:

Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. succeeded in shutting down All-Pro receiver Odel Beckham Jr. in the first half. But in the second, Beckham made two spectacular catches.

Left tackle Garret Bolles continued his struggles with penalties.

In the end, the Broncos’ offense maintained ball control at the end of the fourth quarter to clinch a victory.

Fangio gave Allen the game ball for turning around a previously anemic offense. Allen praised the game plan of Broncos offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello.

Up next for the Denver Broncos is a bye week and then a road game against the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis in Week 11.
