Yair Rodriguez got the last laugh over Jeremy Stephens on Friday when he emerged victorious from their grudge match at UFC on ESPN 6.
After the initial meeting ended in a quick no contest due to an eye poke, Rodriguez (12-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) proved superior to Stephens (28-17 MMA, 15-16 UFC) when they actually got to fight with a unanimous decision win in the featherweight bout, which took place at TD Garden in Boston and aired on ESPN2.
