Weili Zhang became the UFC’s first Chinese champion on Saturday when she dethroned Jessica Andrade of the strawweight title in the UFC on ESPN+ 15 main event.

Zhang (20-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) extended her winning streak to 20 consecutive fights and added UFC gold to her resume with a 42-second TKO victory over Andrade (20-7 MMA, 11-5 UFC) in the headlining bout, which took place at Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen and streamed on ESPN+.
