Twitter reacts to Titans’ selection of DT Larrell Murchison

The Tennessee Titans stuck with defense for the second consecutive round, bringing on former North Carolina State defensive tackle Larrell Murchison with the No. 174 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

With the move, the Titans have now addressed the defensive line, cornerback, running back and right tackle as we prepare for their final selections in the seventh round.

Non-bias here and y'all know it's real coming from me. Early look, Larrell Murchison looks like a potential steal. High effort, transferred to NC State, and put up numbers (12 TFL, 7 sacks in 2019).

Scouts question his upside, but he put up a good 40 and bench press so look out

Some good numbers for 6-3, 291-pound Murchison at NC State last year: 48 tackles, 7 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, 2 pass defended, 2 fumbles recovered.

I like the pick. Depth guy. Replaces Austin Johnson, nothing special. Murchison got to the QB some at NC State, but running a 5 flat won’t get you much in the NFL. More of a run down player.
