For the first time since the 2008 season, the Tennessee Titans will enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the AFC after narrowly defeating the Houston Texans in Week 18, 28-25.
The Titans staked themselves to a 21-0 lead at the half, which at the time seemed insurmountable thanks to the way the defense was playing.
However, this game was flipped on its head in the second half, as the Texans scored 18 unanswered points to make it a 21-18 game.
After both teams scored a touchdown to make it a 28-25 contest, the Titans got the ball back with a little over four minutes remaining and were able to successfully run out the clock to secure the victory.
Tennessee will get next week off and await their opponent for the divisional round. The Titans are just two wins away from Super Bowl LVI.
