Soccer Twitter got an absolute jolt on Wednesday morning when Coleen Rooney, the wife of D.C. United attacker and England legend Wayne Rooney, posted a long note to her public Twitter account.
The note detailed how private details of her life had been shared with the English tabloid The Sun, and how she was confused because the details were from her private Instagram account, which only has a few followers.
So, Rooney did what any good detective would do: She had a hunch on who it was, so she created fake stories, and then only limited the stories to only being viewable by one person. Those stories then ended up in The Sun. Rooney had her perp: ….And it was Rebekah Vardy, the wife of Wayne Rooney’s England teammate, Jamie Vardy.
