Twitter reacts to the first ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ trailer

You may be surprised to learn that Detective Pikachu isn’t the only polarizing live action videogame crossover movie of 2019. The first trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog dropped on Tuesday, and fans of the series are… distraught.

Sonic The Hedgehog, set to release in November, stars Jim Carrey as the evil Dr. Robotnik, James Marsden as a police officer named Tom Wachowski, and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.

Many Twitter users were very unsettled by Sonic’s teeth.
