After signing linebacker Thomas Davis, the Chargers made their second acquisition with quarterback Tyrod Taylor on Wednesday.
Though it wasn’t a splashy signing, Los Angeles landed the best remaining quarterback on the market. With Geno Smith listed as an unrestricted free agent, the team needed a backup quarterback to Philip Rivers and the Bolts got just that with Taylor.
With the signing of Taylor, he reunites with his former offensive coordinator and coach when with the Bills in Anthony Lynn.
Here’s how social media reacted to the news after NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported it.
