Twitter reacts to Texans’ Jadeveon Clowney trade to Seahawks

Jadeveon Clowney is no longer a member of the Houston Texans. The Seattle Seahawks received the three-time Pro-Bowl edge rusher in exchange for a third-round pick and linebackers Barkevious Mingo and Jacob Martin.

The trade is considered to be an undersell by the Texans, and their four-heading general manager led by coach Bill O’Brien. Twitter didn’t let up in making that known.

Let’s take a look at some of the best reactions from Twitter after the blockbuster trade on Saturday.

The Ringer’s Kevin Clark let it be known that NFL teams should employ a general manager, unlike the Texans.

Draft Network’s Benjamin Solak made fun of their “general manager.”

Former Seahawks left tackle and Hall of Famer Walter Jones let the memes doing the talking in Seahawk’s general manager John Schneider’s approach to trade talks.

And then there is this…

Film analyst Brett Kollman shared an opinion most would agree with.

Barstool Sports’ PFT Commenter (aka Eric Sollenberger) shared his opinion; as usual, he didn’t let up.

Apparently “Madden” wouldn’t accept the trade.

The Ringer’s Shea Serano decided to spill his emotions.

Benjamin Allbright has jokes.

Mark Schofield shared his empathy for quarterback Deshaun Watson after the Texans failed to get him protection in return for Clowney, with a picture of Watson.

In general, NFL analysts believe the Texans didn’t do to well in the trade.

It wasn’t a good day to be browsing Twitter for Texans fans.
