Twitter reacts to Ryan Fitzpatrick signing with the Dolphins

Ryan Fitzpatrick just can’t seem to quit the AFC East.

After spending time with the Bills and Jets, Fitzpatrick is heading back to the division after agreeing to a deal with the Miami Dolphins.

Miami has its new starting quarterback. Dolphins reached agreement on a two-year deal with former Buccaneers’ QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, per source. Fitzpatrick now will join his third AFC East team, having already started for the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.

Miami is giving its new quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick a two-year, $11 million deal with incentives that could boost it to between $17 and $20 million, per source.

And so the Dolphins add former Buccaneers’ QB Ryan Fitzpatrick for 2019, with eyes on Alabama QB Tua Tagovaiola for 2020.

It is no secret that Miami is going through a rebuild right now. Having a veteran like Fitzpatrick under center should help make the process bearable at the least. After all, he played some pretty impressive football last year for the Bucs.

One thing I’ve learned over the year with Dolphins fans….they are never satisfied. Never happy. Ryan Fitzpatrick is by far the best bridge QB out there. Makes sense he’s Miami’s third offer, behind Tyrod Taylor and Teddy Bridgewater. And his age and salary demands makes fits.
