Twitter reacts to report that the Steelers are close to dealing Antonio Brown to the Bills

It appears as if the the Antonio Brown saga in Pittsburgh could be nearing an end, as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported late Thursday night that the Steelers were closing in on a deal that would send the best wide receiver in the game to… Buffalo.

For real.

Brown, of course, has been wanting to be traded since the end of the season, which ended with him being ruled inactive for the final game of the season after missing some practices during the week.

He probably didn’t think he’d end up in Buffalo, but that’s where it’s looking like he’ll go, even though Brown responded with “fake news” to Rapoport’s report.

What made this situation all the more bonkers as it turned to early Friday morning was this tweet from longtime Buffalo Bills reporter, Vic Carucci:

So yeah, there’s still some stuff that needs to be done before this actually becomes a real thing, and trades can’t become official until March 13th when the new league year begins, but Twitter still had fun with all the twists and turns as it broke in the middle of the night:
