The Washington Redskins didn’t get anything done at the trade deadline.
Despite having several intriguing trade chips to offer other teams, the front office simply didn’t get anything done after seemingly kicking into gear at the last second over the last few days.
This means the Redskins didn’t move Trent Williams, who later returned from his holdout. It means the team didn’t unload a big contract like the one belonging to Josh Norman, nor did they deal a veteran who can help a contender such as an Adrian Peterson or Ryan Kerrigan.
