The Rams gave up a first-round pick to acquire Brandin Cooks two years ago, but his tenure with the team has already come to an end. Los Angeles is trading Cooks and a 2022 fourth-rounder to the Texans for a second-round pick in 2020.
While it’s somewhat surprising that the Rams are moving on from him this offseason, they admitted they were getting calls from teams about him, so there was clearly interest. Twitter didn’t see this as a massive win for either team, but Rams fans weren’t upset about the deal.
