Twitter reacts to Patriots selecting CB Joejuan Williams in 2nd round

Twitter offered positive reactions to the New England Patriots selecting Vanderbilt cornerback Joejuan Williams.

New England drafted Williams with the No. 45 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, after trading up with the Los Angeles Rams for picks No. 56 and 101. Bill Belichick continues his trend of drafting defensive backs in the second round. Here’s how everyone responded:

As LB Dont'a Hightower announced, "the champs" select Vanderbilt CB JoeJuan Williams. Physical traits stand out at 6-foot-3 5/8 and 211 pounds. Will have time to develop behind the scenes on a stacked depth chart in 2019.

Joejuan Williams comes to the Patriots from Vanderbilt. He has great size and good ball skills – 25 PBUs over the last two seasons. This marks the second-straight year Belichick drafted a cornerback in the second round.
