Notre Dame got off to a rough start against Louisville Monday, with the game tied 14-14 until late in the second quarter.
Though the Cardinals appear to be much improved from last season, the Fighting Irish were heavy favorites heading into this game.
Louisville was able to run the football with ease against Notre Dame early, prompting Twitter to do its thing.
After watching both the Bulldogs and Irish, many are predicting a blowout in Athens on September 21st. However, we will say that Notre Dame was able to take control of the Cardinals late and put them to rest.
That didn’t stop many from predicting a beatdown, though and it certainly won’t lower any ticket prices for September 21st.
