Marvin Vettori had one of his best performances Saturday night.

The Italian fighter scored a submission win over Karl Roberson in the co-main event of UFC on ESPN 10 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The submission finish came at the 4:17 mark of round one.

The middleweight bout had been booked twice prior, and the cancelation and withdrawal from Roberson (9-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) caused personal tension with Vettori (15-3-1 MMA, 5-2-1 UFC), making it a heated and anticipated bout.
