Joanna Jedrzejczyk returned to the strawweight division with a win on Saturday when she defeated Michelle Waterson in the UFC on ESPN+ 19 headliner.
After a failed title bid up a weight class, Jedrzejczyk (16-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) dropped down to the division where she once held UFC gold. She put herself in contention to fight for the belt with a one-sided unanimous decision win over Waterson (17-7 MMA, 5-3 UFC) in the main event matchup, which took place at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., and streamed on ESPN+.
