Jan Blachowicz got his title reign off to a promising start on Saturday when he denied Israel Adesanya’s double-champ attempt in the UFC 259 headliner.
Blachowicz (28-8 MMA, 11-5 UFC) kept his grip on the light heavyweight belt when he earned a unanimous decision victory over middleweight champ Adesanya (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) in their main event matchup, which took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
