Twitter reacts to Jaguars trade to acquire Ezra Cleveland from Vikings

The Jacksonville Jaguars made a move at the 2023 NFL trade deadline, sending a sixth-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings for offensive lineman Ezra Cleveland.

While most expected the Jaguars to target pass rushers if they made a deal Tuesday, the cheap cost to acquire Cleveland had plenty of people applauding general manager Trent Baalke and had some questioning what the Vikings were thinking.

Here are some of the best reactions on social media to the trade when it was reported and announced Tuesday:

At worst, Ezra Cleveland is high quality depth at a spot where the Jags OL has been lacking.

At best, he’s the starting LG and Walker Little goes back to being the 6th OL instead of Shatley.

Ezra Cleveland is a 25-year-old guard who instantly would’ve been the #Jets best healthy OL.

He’s a long-term piece and at worst an average starting guard (probably better).

And it only took a 6th round pick to get him.
