Glover Teixeira continued to show career-best form on Saturday when he beat Thiago Santos in the UFC on ESPN+ 40 main event.

Teixeira (32-7 MMA, 15-5 UFC) extended his winning streak to five consecutive fights when he beat Santos (21-8 MMA, 13-7 UFC) by third-round submission in the matchup of light heavyweight contenders, which took place at UFC Apex and streamed on ESPN+.
