Glover Teixeira added the name of another light heavyweight contender to his resume on Wednesday when he defeated Anthony Smith in the UFC on ESPN+ 29 headliner.
Teixeira (31-7 MMA, 14-5 UFC) was successful in his return to the octagon after an eight-month layoff when he scored a fifth-round TKO victory over Smith (32-15 MMA, 8-5 UFC) in the main event bout, which took place at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla.
